ABOUT
A Maker for Makers
Mission over Money

I like to say I am a "Maker for Makers". I am not looking to make huge profits, or turn into a production shop.

I am looking to simply enjoy and refine my craft and share the benefits of craft with others.

---

I enjoy having my products be both functional and beautiful but also have meaning and substance.

---

I invite you to join in the journey however that fits you:

If you are a woodworker and want to chat, reach out, I would love that.

If you want to learn woodworking, I would love to share my journey and knowledge

If you are a Scandinavian design enthusiast, awesome, would love to chat with you too.

If you are interested in purchasing, I feel honored, please see the link below...

Profits help fund The Handcraft Initiative.

I sell my furniture to fuel the ability to bring craft to others.

Meet the Maker
The beginnings: I started Woolly Furniture in the Summer of 2017 with the goal of creating furniture, that will inspire the people around them towards beauty and community. At that time, only had rough construction experience, and a hope to learn how to build furniture.

Design Style: I have a special interest in Danish/Scandinavian design (it is my heritage after all). I have been inspired by the line work of Arne Vodder, Victor Wilkins, Adrian Pearsall, Dieter Rams, and others.

My Mantra: I believe that the ability to take something that is only in the mind and make it into art, literature, or simply a tangible good, is a gift. Crafting is something that is important to humanity and should be given the proper time and space.

About me: I live in Fort Collins, CO (since 2012) with my wife and two kids. I enjoy playing with my kids, I want to be a deep reader (but that rarely happens), and I enjoy learning about pretty much anything. I work full-time as a project manager in the tech industry and enjoy woodworking in my spare time.

What's with Limited Editions?
The root of it is that I am not a production shop (though I have high respect for those people). I design and build micro-batches of furniture products.

Each piece is stamped with an edition number, which is the count for that particular product. So you are literally getting 1 of only a few made.
