Private Lesson Vs Custom Workshops
Private lessons, are aimed at people looking for a 1-2 hour weekly session. This works well for those seeking guidance, skill-building, or smaller projects (generally under six hours). These projects are usually taken home at the end of each session.

Custom Workshops, on the other hand, are better suited for longer or multi-day projects, or projects that are more complex or larger in scale. During workshops, the projects can remain in my shop as I shut down my shop and dedicate it entirely to the workshop, because of that I require a rate of $50/hr.
Workshops
Workshops are project based work, intended for small groups of 3 or less.

Mission
I believe making things by hand—like music or art—connects the mind and body, encourages curiosity, builds autonomy, and fosters emotional, intellectual, and social growth. It allows us to give back and contribute. To make that special person or ourselves something with our own two hands.

I strive to meet the maker(you!) where they are at, come along side them in their journey. Handwork can be very accessible, it could be a workbench at the end of your bed in your studio apartment or a massive shop full of the latest and greatest tooling. There is no right or wrong approach, and if I can be a catalyst for you to start making I would love to help.

I am calling this mission to teach and bring craft to others The Handwork Initiative
